-Learning: or Mobile Learning refers to the use of handheld devices such as PDAs, mobile phones, laptops and any other handheld information technology device that many be use in teaching and learning.

perationally: m-learning is an emerging, and rapidly expanding field of educational research and pedagogical methodologies which will become common place in years to come in schools, colleges and universities as well as in the work place. M-Learning is reaching new kind of user through:

earning: designed learning, specially for mobile devices

ngaging/Fun: learning becomes a more entertaining and effective experience.

onvenient: accessible from anywhere (bus, class, laundry room) to content including quizzes, journal entries, balance sheets, learning games

rganisational: stacks of books are replaced by RAM with learning experiences customized and connected (reviews and summaries chunked for on-the-go access)

M

otivational: if learning becomes a pleasure rather than a burden everyone wins.
