The project will transfer two products developed previously within two different Leonardo da Vinci projects: 1) the innovative learning approach developed within Leonardo da Vinci Pilot Project realised by the partnership led by the Coordinator from Italy. 2) didactical material for teaching technical English within Leonardo da Vinci Pilot Project realised by the partnership led by the Coordinator from Bulgaria.
The proposal implements the Transfer of Innovation from a few perspectives: 1) sectoral – the learning approach was used within tourism sector and now it will be transferred and updated for the needs of IT specialists in SME sector 2) geographical – the learning approach and the didactic materials will be transferred, translated to new languages and adjusted to the needs of new countries 3) technical – the tools developed in previous projects will be updated to the technical needs of current realities, content will be enhanced and more attractive. The transfer will change the delivery type (change balance between e-learning and m-learning in the first case and transfer to the electronic form in the second case). Overall, the bigger stress will be put on m-learning part. The transfer will make the training more accessible. During the realisation of TALAS project the mobile equipment was expensive and hardly accessible. Nowadays there is new generation of mobile devices – so-called smartphones, which became affordable and have bigger possibilities. The transfer will include change from relatively simple, static content implemented within TALAS project to more attractive, interactive, rich content which will include: video and interactive applications/forms. This double transfer proposal will answer its main aim which is strengthening SME sector through empowering its IT specialists by giving them innovative method of training which will work towards the improvement of employees skils and in effect the improvement of European VET system.
